Dr. Shimon Mizrahi received his B.A. in Applied Science Technology – Computers from JCT, MSc from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1995, and his PhD in computer science from York University USA 2007.
He was the CTO of TNL Networks ltd from 2002 to 2004, supervising the development of solutions using the cellular networks. Since 2000 he is the CTO of AKA Advanced Technologies Company where he developed product such as Tensiograph – wireless low power remote sensing; ScanMaster - Software & hardware developing for the ultrasound equipment and more
Since 2005 he is a lecturer at the Jerusalem College of Technology in the EE dept. and coordinator of the final engineering project.
Dr. Mizrahi has been granted several patents and published papers on optical and cellular networks. His research interests are: Heavy duty RFID tag, Image processing systems, Video transfer on a cellular network, sensors for medical devices, biotech, …
